Leavers lace is one of the rarest textiles in the world, woven on nineteenth-century looms using tens of thousands of threads simultaneously. The process requires extraordinary technical skill and cannot be replicated by machine. A single meter can take hours to produce. Evangelista works exclusively with Leavers lace sourced from European mills, produced in Italy by artisans for whom the craft is a calling.

All Evangelista pieces are made in Italy.

All pieces should be hand washed in cold water with a delicate detergent and laid flat to dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Store flat or folded — never on a hanger, which can distort the lace. Select pieces can be dry cleaned.

The collection is crafted from Italian Leavers lace and monogram silk jacquard. The set is printed on Italian silk from Como. All hardware is custom, gold, and from Italy.

The Orgy print is an original drawing by Georgian artist Lia Chechelashvili, printed across the Eve pajama top and Sarah pajama pant in antique white. A torrent of intertwined figures rendered in fluid black line work — art that lives closest to the skin.
